Hampshire Teddy Bear Fair with Higgys Bears

Hi Everyone,
Well, we are off to the New Forest this Sunday 18th May to the Hampshire Teddy Bear Fair, at the Lyndhurst Community Centre, SO43 7NY from 10.30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

If you fancy a wonderful day out in the New Forest with lots of bears pop along :)
You will be able to see Higgys Bears Special Edition World War 1 bears , they will be making their debut at this event.

With coffee and snacks to keep you going, come along for a chat and a great day out,

Vintage Retro Fair, Alton, Higgys Vintage Bears will be there XX

Higgys Bears are taking part in a Vintage Retro Fair in Alton GU34 1BA  on 16th March for  more info on this event go to altonassemblyrooms.com
Because this is a Vintage Fair I will be taking my Vintage Bears only but .............. my latest Calico Bears will be making their debut,

It's time again for the biggest bear fair in the U.K. yes, it's Hugglets Winter Bear Fest. taking place this Sunday, 23rd Feb. at Kensington Town Hall, London W8 7NX from 10.30 a.m. to 4.p.m.

Higgys Bears at Lyndhurst

Hi,  
I know it's a bit short notice but ............. just wanted to let you all know about Lyndhurst, the Hampshire Teddy Bear Fair. It takes place this Sunday 20 th October 2013, in the Community Centre, just off the High St. SO43 7NY.  11 a.m. 'til 4 p.m.
This event is hosted by Lesley and Andrew, and on Sunday all the "Pudsey Friends" will be on display.
This event has car park, coffee shop, WiFi and of course................... lots and lots of lovely teddy bears for you to fall in love with and add to your very own "Hug"

Higgys Bears are going to Hugglets

It's that time of year again! This Sunday, 8 th Sept . all my latest creations are off on a day trip to the big city, Kensington Town Hall, London W8 7NX . This most prestigous of events on the Teddy Bear Fest. calendar starts at 10.30 a.m. 'til 4 p.m.
If you go to www.higgysbears.co.uk you can see some of my latest designs like Darcy the ballet style bear, Paddy, who's just looking for a friend and Wilby, who's my biggest and most cuddliest bear, at 18 inches tall.

Higgys Bears birthday celebrations

I can't believe it ,
I think I'm on the right road and dare I say it, things are going to plan : ))

On 29 th March 2013 it's Higgys Bears 5th birthday, quite an achievement in the Teddy Bear world,  (so I 'm told !!)
So.................

To celebrate this event I have reduced 17 of my beautiful bears so that you too can join in the fun.

It all starts on THURSDAY 21st MARCH at 10.00. a.m. and ends at 8.00 p.m. on THURSDAY 28 th MARCH.

New Year for Higgys Bears and Hugglets

Hi everyone and a very Happy New Year to you all, all be it a little belated !!
It's been a bit hectic here, Christmas was incredible and as we started the new year it just hasn't stoppped, with orders for Hugglets and more.

I have lots of new fabrics and new ideas racing around in my head so keep an eye on the web-site of www.higgysbears.co.uk to see my latest creations.

However, as all you hardened Higgys Bears fans out there will know Hugglets means lots of bears,so I will have to concentrate on this Fair for a while, but I hope to see you there on Sun. 24th Feb. 2013 at Kensington Town Hall , come and see all the latest designs in the fur and maybe have a cuddle, if you dare !! : ))))

Wow , what an incredible year this has been and to finish it all off I have officially entered the Toby Awards , the finals to be held in San Diego in the New Year, how exciting is that.

Higgys Bears at Minstead

Well, I'm almost there !!!!!!! just got to pack all my latest creations safely away for their journey to Minstead,to take part in the Teddy Bear Fair. This event is held in the Village Hall in Minstead, Hampshire,SO43 7FX for sat.nav.it starts at 11 a.m. til 4 p.m.
I love this venue it's in such a lovely part of the New Forest and the surroundings are soooo peaceful : )))))))))))
I look forward to seeing quite a few of my collecters at this Fair but I always like to introduce new comers to Higgys Bears.

Higgys Bears at Bath

Hi everyone,
well I can't believe it's over, I was soooo looking forward to our visit to the Panda Party at House of Bears - Bath, now it's been and gone !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
However the great news is that "Shadow" my donated bear sold before I'd bearly got my foot in the shop door!

A lovely lady named " Anna" bought him and asked me to sign the Heart round his neck.
Anna was over the moon and I must say I did have a warm glow inside to think that my little donated bear had gone towards, in some small way,to help the Macmillan Nurses,
Sue does a great job at House of Bears Bath raising money for this most deserving course.

If you are ever in the area look out for "Takoe" and" Yuki", two stunning Panda's that can be found in The House of Bears - Bath
